PRG Aims

  • To provide a forum for members and pensioners of Reuters Pension Fund (RPF) and the Supplementary Pension Scheme (SPS) for the exchange of views and opinions on the development and management of RPF and SPS.

  • To seek the re-introduction and maintenance of inflation-linked pension increases to ensure that the Trustees and Company meet both their financial and moral obligations.

  • To monitor the management of RPF and SPS by the Trustees and the Company and send comments to either or both when appropriate.

  • To seek meetings with the Trustees and the Company as and when considered necessary, and if appropriate and within the RPF rules, convene a meeting of RPF members.

  • To exchange views, opinions and information with other groups, bodies and regulatory organisations on specific and general pensions issues.

  • NB In this context, the term Trustees includes the Managing Committee and Trustees of RPF and the Trustees of SPS, as appropriate.
